Hygiene-Cleaning and Root Planning

Normal instruction of dentists for the clients to have teeth cleaned and scaled every six months to once a year. Getting rid of the calculus, plaque, tartar, and stone deposit that causes gum and tooth problem including stain that can attach to your teeth. If the time takes too long, it will permanently change your tooth color.

For clients that have periodontitis, the dentist will have instructions for deep cleaning for getting rid of the deposit between the tooth and gum located near the root, also termed root planning. Too much deposit on the base can harm your tooth structure and nearby gum causing losing a tooth.
